NJAIS Governance Foundations is a board development program designed to create and sustain a high-functioning Board that is well equipped to collaborate effectively with the Head of School. This program covers up to eleven (11) core topics, including but not limited to:

Case-study approach for Boards that would like to better align the performance of the Board and the Head of School in deep partnership, for the sustainable success of the school. To be tailored to specific circumstances of the school.
Duration: 3 hours
Location: On-site only
Fee (NJAIS Members): $1,500 + travel expenses
Fee (Non-Members): $3,000 + travel expenses
For Boards that would benefit from a comprehensive and candid assessment of Board practices and functioning, we perform a diagnosis and provide a detailed report with recommendations for Board development. To be tailored according to the Board meeting schedule of the school.
Duration: 30 days (allows for attendance at one or more meetings, interviews, and more)
Location: Blend of on-site (at board meeting/s) and online
