Head Boys’ Lacrosse Coach
Newark Academy has an opening for a boys’ varsity lacrosse head coach for the 2019-2020 school year.
The successful applicant for this position will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, a minimum of three years coaching experience and passion for the game of lacrosse. Experience teaching or working in an educational setting is preferred but not required. This candidate should be an excellent communicator, energetic, with proven people and managerial skills who relishes the opportunity to work with a diverse group of young men in a situation where academics are priority one. Experience in independent schools, or higher education will be looked upon favorably.
The successful candidate will report to the Athletic Director in managing the entire boys’ lacrosse program, which currently includes upper and middle school teams.
Newark Academy is an independent day school located in Livingston, New Jersey, a 40 minute drive from mid-town Manhattan. Newark Academy is non-sectarian and coeducational.
