2018-2019 Job Opening: Middle and Upper School Spanish (and French) Teacher
Ranney School is an Age 3-Grade 12 independent, college preparatory school based in Tinton Falls, NJ. Our school serves a diverse body of approximately 620 students from across Monmouth & Ocean Counties on the northern New Jersey shore. The Middle School seeks a teacher who primarily will teach Middle School Spanish with occasional assignments to teach both Middle and Upper School French, depending on enrollment trends.
Candidates will ideally have an advanced degree in education, Spanish, (and ideally, French), or a related field. Experience teaching world languages in a middle or upper school setting is also ideal.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Teach five sections of Spanish (and possibly French), primarily at the Middle School level.
In addition to a full-time teaching schedule faculty serve as advisors, mentor students in co-curricular activities (coaching athletics, if possible), participate in division and department meetings, serve on school-wide committees and in various supervisory roles. Developing strong relationships with students and colleagues is critical for one’s success at Ranney and for the school’s successful accomplishment of its mission.
