PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING FOR ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
1. Complete the form below, and click SUBMIT.
2. NJAIS will acknowledge receipt within one business day, and will send you an invoice for the $750 application fee.
3. Upon payment, NJAIS will ask for any supplemental information and will work with you to schedule a site visit for the Executive Director, usually within two weeks.
4. The Executive Director will visit the school (suggested schedule to be provided). An additional NJAIS staff member may accompany the Executive Director.
5. Upon completion of the visit, a report will be given to the Membership Committee, which will make a recommendation to the NJAIS Board of Trustees. The Board will vote on membership. The typical timeframe for this recommendation and vote is 5-10 days.
6. The NJAIS Executive Director will notify the school of the decision of the NJAIS Board of Trustees. A successful application means that your school can begin to enjoy member benefits immediately, upon receipt of this notification.
