This annual conference experience aims to address this essential question:

How can AI and innovation empower K-12 educators to reimagine instructional practices, enhance creativity, work more efficiently, and personalize learning in our schools?

Featured Sessions Include:

AI in Action: Tools Transforming Teaching and Learning

Get an inside look at some of the most innovative AI-powered platforms shaping the future of K–12 education. This curated vendor showcase features live demonstrations and insights from SchoolAI, Flint, and Toddle, each offering tools designed to enhance instructional design, streamline teacher workflows, and personalize the student learning experience. Whether you're exploring classroom applications or strategic implementation, this session offers a fast-paced, solution-focused tour of what’s possible with AI in schools today.  All three vendors will host interactive breakout sessions following lunch, giving you the chance to explore their platforms in depth.

Beyond AI Literacy: Reimagining and Reinventing Pedagogy in a Rapidly Changing World

As AI becomes an integral part of education, how do we evolve our teaching practices in ways that amplify our strengths as educators? This session moves beyond AI literacy to fluency, exploring how K - 12 independent school educators can harness AI to enhance—not replace—their expertise. Through real-world use cases, participants will examine how AI can reshape learning outcomes, leading to experiences that look and feel different from traditional models. Rather than fearing disruption, the session will consider AI as a catalyst for deeper thinking, creativity, and student agency. Join us to reimagine pedagogy in an AI-driven world while staying rooted in what makes great teaching timeless.

Codes Against Academy: Playing with the Ethics of AI in Schools

How should schools navigate the rapid rise of AI? What’s fair, ethical, or even allowed when students and teachers alike are turning to powerful tools like ChatGPT? Codes Against Academy invites educators, administrators, and thought partners into this essential conversation—through play. In this interactive session, participants will explore a deck of real-world, AI-related scenarios pulled straight from the evolving landscape of education. This session will get your group talking—sometimes debating—about what we value in education and where we draw the line. Come ready to laugh, reflect, and maybe disagree as you gain sharper insight and clearer questions about how your school might responsibly engage with the tools of tomorrow.

The Sandbox Session

Roll up your sleeves and explore the AI platforms featured in the morning showcase—SchoolAI, Flint, and Toddle—at your own pace. This is your chance to test tools, ask questions, and imagine how these innovations might take shape in your own school. You’re also welcome to revisit ideas sparked during Codes Against Academy and connect one-on-one with vendors to dive deeper.

What the Tech is Going On?!

This experience fosters collaboration and sharing of innovative instructional initiatives, with or without technology. The afternoon will include a showcase of instructional exemplars and best practices, followed by a meet-and-greet to connect, collaborate, learn, and grow. Cocktails and light refreshments will be served.
