Standard Application Online (SAO)

 

For Families Applying to NJAIS Member Schools:

To streamline the school application process, NJAIS provide information below about using the Standard Application Online (SAO) as an option for applying to schools. The SAO allows you to complete one application and use it to apply to a number of schools. Many NJAIS member schools accept the Standard Application Online (SAO).

You can search a complete list of schools accepting the SAO here. Simply indicate that the Country is USA, the State is NJ, and check the filter to the left of the screen that says “Accepts the Standard Application Online.”  (Please note that not all SAO schools are NJAIS member schools.)

For each school in which you are interested in applying, it is important to refer to its website regarding their application process. If you are applying to a school that is not listed, or does NOT accept the SAO, please inquire if they will accept the SAO Teacher Recommendation Forms, in place of their own forms, thus making the process easier for you and your child's teachers.

The Standard Application Online (SAO) is a free service provided by The Enrollment Management Association. When applying, students submit their information, essays, transcripts, and recommendations just once, online, to apply to as many EMA member schools as they like.
