What are “digital assets” and what’s the difference?

Who owns cryptocurrencies and how has that evolved?

Why should an independent school care about cryptocurrency?

Presenter:

Bill Ullman is the Founder and CEO at The Daily FinQ, an app/game focused on financial literacy and Water Street Advisors LLC, a registered investment advisor. Bill began his career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch focused on corporate finance and M&A transactions for financial institutions. In 1997, Bill joined Bear Stearns’ FIG/Investment Banking Department and later helped manage the firm’s leading prime brokerage and global clearing services business as a Senior Managing Director. More recently, Bill has served in a variety of roles at FinTech companies - as an advisor, angel investor and executive. He was the Chief Commercial Officer of an online lending and analytics company called Orchard Platform and CEO of its broker-dealer subsidiary. More recently, Bill was appointed Chairman of the Advisory Board of Jewel, the first bank in Bermuda licensed to conduct crypto currency business. Bill is a Member of the Board of Directors of NYC based asset manager Van Eck Associates Corp., ($70+ billion of AUM), a Senior Advisor to Berkshire Global Advisors (advisory firm focused on financial services) and a Senior Advisor to FinTech Collective (venture capital firm). Bill has written articles on FinTech for a variety of publications, spoken at conferences and started a podcast on FinTech and investing called “Squashing the Market.” Bill earned an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and an AB cum laude from Princeton University.

Cancellation Policy:
