If you blew up your classroom observation system, how would you rebuild it? Whether or not we were looking for redesign, the shift to remote, in-person, remote and in-person, socially distanced classrooms has blown this up, giving us the opportunity to rebuild better, more intentional and mission-aligned feedback and observation structures and protocols. Join FolioCollaborative for this interactive session to:

- Explore six core truths about effective observation and feedback during this complex time

- Prototype new approaches to observation and feedback, for 2021 and beyond

- Consider how to bring new designs and approaches back to your school to promote inclusive, excellent, and relevant instruction

Presenter:

Andy Shaw -- As the Director of Professional Learning at the FolioCollaborative, Andy Shaw has the privilege of supporting Folio’s 160+ member schools in their efforts to support teacher growth and build communities that prioritize continuous adult learning. Andy has worked in both boarding and day schools, as a math teacher, a class dean, academic dean, and dean of curriculum and innovation. Most recently, Andy served as a design principal at a consulting firm supporting public schools and districts nationwide with professional development and strategy projects, ranging from instructional model change to leadership development to strategic planning.

Cancellation Policy:

Registration fees will only be refunded if NJAIS is notified of your cancellation two weeks prior to the program. You may transfer your registration to a colleague in your school at no cost.
