Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day



This workshop is designed to define and demonstrate effective teaching skills for independent school educators. This program allows teachers and administrators to identify cause-and-effect relationships between teaching and learning, and gives them a profoundly effective repertoire of techniques and strategies that can be used in planning and delivering instruction. The sessions review the principles of learning and offer suggestions for translating the latest 21st century research into practical classroom applications. Participants are actively involved throughout the four-days of the program, and have the opportunity for follow-up later in the fall.

Based on New Jersey’s Academy for the Advancement of Teaching and Management Program with a special focus on independent school teaching, this workshop is designed to meet the needs of new and veteran teachers alike. Schools are encouraged to send teams of teachers and administrators. These participants will return to their schools and continue working as a team to refine their teaching skills and to establish the highest professional standards for classroom instruction.

Two+ Participants: $450 each

Cancellation Policy:

For Round Tables: Registration fees will only be refunded if NJAIS is notified of your cancellation one week prior to the program.

For Workshops, Conferences and Retreats: Registration fees will only be refunded if NJAIS is notified of your cancellation two weeks prior to the program.

In the event of inclement weather, programs may be delayed or postponed.
