Education means preparing students to be engaged, positive members of society. Citizenship means researching and understanding complex information, participating in civil discourse online, and understanding the ethics and morals surrounding online behavior. This conference is for educators who want to learn about these topics at a high level. With presentations from school administrators, social media experts from higher education, communication directors, classroom teachers, and journalists, this conference will take a multi-disciplinary approach to digital citizenship. The conference will be organized into three tracks: 1. Research and Information Literacy, 2. Publishing in Schools 3. Ethics, Morality and the Internet.
