SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Link Community School seeks a Special Education teacher. The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and a minimum of two years experience in the same or similar position and will possess a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills. The position requires the teacher to understand and interpret educational reports of students with learning differences in addition to working with students both one-on-one and in small group settings, providing strategies that will enable students to become self-sufficient learners. Other duties include maintaining a direct line of communication with parents and faculty regarding the progress of students, and maintaining and updating student files with appropriate documentation to keep faculty apprised of student accommodations.
