DIRECTOR OF ANNUAL GIVING AND PARENT RELATIONS
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director of Institutional Advancement
Responsibilities:
* Serve as Advancement Team liaison to the Newark Academy Parents Association
* Plan and execute a comprehensive program of annual giving, including mail, phone, personal solicitations and special events
* Write all annual fund mail solicitation materials
* Establish goals for each segment of annual giving program
* Increase the number of annual donors and dollars raised from the Annual Giving program
* Upgrade gift amounts from existing donors
* Provide comprehensive reporting and analysis for all annual giving efforts (segmented by alumni, parents, others), including ROI on each annual fund tactic
* Work collaboratively with Advancement team in managing the donor database and gift accounting
* Work directly with the Board of Trustees Annual Fund Committee to ensure that all trustees are personally solicited
* Recruit current parents in each grade as Annual Fund Class agents
* Works in conjunction with the entire Newark Academy Advancement team to communicate and coordinate activities/events with the NA Alumni Association Board of Governors and the Newark Academy Parents Association
* Personally cultivate and solicit a portfolio of annual fund donors of $1,000 and greater

Requirements:
* 2-4 years experience in Annual Giving setting preferably in an independent school, college, university or health care system
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency in use of Raiser’s Edge fundraising software
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software

COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE/WRITER
The Pingry School, an independent K-12 day school located in Martinsville, NJ, seeks a full-time Communications Associate/Writer to assist in implementing an integrated communications program.  Specifically, this position will help promote the school’s public relation and publications efforts. Job Summary Or Function:
Director of Admissions is responsible for the recruitment and retention of all students- grade levels Pre-K to 8. He/she will maintain records of recruitment and retention, follow-up procedures and a final analysis of the following year’s enrollment. He/she will work with the finance office in managing the contracts/re-enrollment process.

Performance Responsibilities:

  1. Must have the ability to communicate the mission of the school to families of prospective students and other groups and institutions.
  2. Develop and implement plans for creating interest in the school among potential enrollees and their families.
  3. Facilitate the inclusion of new families into the Kellman community.
  4. Work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Trustees to produce publications and other media formats that will assist in the marketing of Kellman.
  5. Organize and plan Open House(s), parlor meetings, and special events as needed to promote the school, attract new families, and retain existing families.
  6. Attend and represent Kellman at community events.
  7. Works closely with the DOD to communicate with alumni.
  8. Evaluate the success of the admissions program.
  9. Provide monthly tracking updates on recruitment activities and admissions.
  10. Attend administrative team meetings (mandatory).
  11. Attend monthly board meetings as required.
